Parallel Directions Ltd was founded in 1987 by current chief executive, Peter Scott, who is one of New Zealand's leading experts in the field of commercial property leasing.
He has an extensive career in property management, project management and strategic business management.
Peter draws on his more than 30 years expertise to quickly get to the nub of clients' needs and the most efficient way of achieving them.
Parallel Directions Ltd has been providing independent commercial property advice to commercial tenants and owner-occupiers throughout New Zealand for over 10 years.
Our clients range from corporate entities managing commercial property lease portfolios throughout the country, through to small-medium business enterprises. We provide services for all commercial lease space and owner-occupied premises; from office accommodation through to retail and industrial space.
As a property consulting firm, we commonly work with multi-branch corporates and institutions on new leases, relocations, rent reviews, and lease renewals... all of which require negotiations with the landlord and careful planning.

Our People
Peter has been in the property game for over two decades. He was a landlord for a multinational property investment company. He also knows what it's like to be a tenant dealing with landlords, because he was one. Peter managed the property function for a major New Zealand corporate with a national network of 55 branches.
As a landlord Peter had lots of tenants, and as a tenant he dealt with lots of landlords. Peter is a lease expert, a skilled negotiator and a capable project manager. He lectures on the subject and he manages Parallel Directions Ltd.
Peter is happily married with three delightful children.
